It doesn't matter whether you jump front or back foot first for this trick so go with your preferred method.

Take a diagonal run up and jump for the rail tweaking both feet onto their inside edges as they hit. Your feet should be spread about shoulder width (or greater) apart. Use your arms to balance as you slide by holding them out horizontally from your sides. Lean very slightly forward over your feet. Your weight should be spread evenly over both feet.
